Meet Kennel Attendant Yvonne Lee-Thomas

Yvonne was raised in Kenner and moved to Zachary in 1970. She raised 3 kids that all attended Zachary Schools. Yvonne retired from the LSU system after 33 years and began working at The Animal Center in 2006. She is a massage therapist as well. Her hobbies include running marathons and triathlons, teaching fitness classes at the YMCA, working in her fruit orchard. Now Yvonne has a new endeavor; creating her own bee hive! A little known fact about Yvonne – she regularly gives our boarding and admitted patients massages! Lucky dogs!
