Dr. Katelyn was born and raised in Lawtell, LA. She moved to Baton Rouge in 2013 to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and later her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, which she graduated with in 2020. Dr. Katelyn joined The Animal Center team in July 2021. She and her husband, Will Frischhertz, currently reside in Baton Rouge, LA, where they share their home with their 5 fur babies, Evie, Abita, Endymion, Tuna, and Hael. In her spare time, Dr. Katelyn enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
